The Willimantic Housing Authority has four developments which provide a range of housing choices for seniors and the disabled. Jonathan Trumball Terrace and the Reverend John Honan Terrace are state financed garden apartments. The garden apartments have efficiency apartments and one and two bedroom apartments.

The Wilbur Cross Apartments and the John Ashton Towers are Federally funded high-rise buildings. All high-rise units have one bedroom except for two efficiency apartments in the Wilbur Cross Building.
